News Philippine Online (“NPO” / “we” / “our” / “us”) operates the Philippine Agri-Tech Ecosystem Expo website (the “Site”) as the official online platform for event information, registration, exhibitor participation, and related services. By accessing, browsing, or using this Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site immediately.

1. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this Site, including but not limited to event details, schedules, exhibitor listings, photographs, images, videos, graphics, logos, trademarks, service marks, and software code, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

• You may view, download, or share event materials for personal, non-commercial purposes related to the Expo.
• Any reproduction, republication, distribution, public display, or modification of our content requires prior written consent from News Philippine Online.
• For exhibitor or sponsor branding use, separate agreements and approvals may apply.

2. User-Generated Content & Community Guidelines

We encourage respectful participation in our online and onsite community. By submitting content (comments, posts, registrations, exhibitor profiles, or any other material) to the Site, you grant NPO a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content across our event platforms.

You agree not to post, upload, or transmit content that:

• Is defamatory, abusive, harassing, or hateful.
• Contains obscene, pornographic, or unlawful material.
• Violates the intellectual property rights of others.
• Spreads misinformation, spam, malware, or harmful code.

We reserve the right to remove content and restrict user access at our sole discretion.

3. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. By registering for or using the Site, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, in compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and internationally recognized data protection standards.

4. Event Participation (Registration, Tickets & Attendance)

• Registration and/or ticket purchase is required for access to certain event sessions or activities.
• All registrations are non-transferable unless expressly authorized by NPO.
• Cancellation and refund policies, if applicable, will be published on the Site and must be reviewed prior to registration.
• Event schedules, speakers, and exhibitors are subject to change without prior notice.
• NPO reserves the right to refuse admission or remove attendees who violate this Agreement or event policies.

5. Special Event Activities (Auction & Quiz Tournament)

As part of the Philippine Agri-Tech Ecosystem Expo, additional activities will take place, including:

• Auction: Items, products, or services may be offered for bidding during the event. Participation in auctions is voluntary and subject to additional rules announced onsite or online. Bidders are responsible for reviewing item details before bidding. All winning bids are considered final.
• Quiz Tournament: A knowledge-based competition will be held for student participants across three educational levels: Elementary, High School, and College.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” You understand and agree that:

1. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free access.
2. Event details (including schedules, venues, speakers, and exhibitors) may change without prior notice.
3. We are not responsible for third-party services, vendors, or exhibitor offerings linked or featured on the Site.
4. We make no warranties (express or implied) regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of event-related information.
5. We do not warrant that the Site or event materials are free from viruses, malware, or harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall NPO, its directors, employees, affiliates, partners, sponsors, exhibitors, or agents be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, event services, or participation in the Expo.

Any claim against NPO shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for event registration or participation through the Site.

8. Modifications and Termination

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site or event services without prior notice.

We may also revise this User Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any such revisions.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the proper courts in Angeles City, Philippines.
